Ordering
Once the order has been submitted on the website and your payment has been accepted, then an email will be sent confirming your order and you will be given an estimated date for delivery and this is also the start of the legally binding contract between us.
If the product is already made, then you will receive it within 7 working days.
If the item has to be made, then the item will usually be with you within 2 to 6 weeks.
Payment
When ordering and paying for your product, you will be paying through the website using a debit or credit card through www.melissasimpson.co.uk.
This will be put through a system which complies with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Security Standard), and you can be confident that the payment has been made securely. And also with this system, we have no access to your credit card information, but will be notified that the amount has been debited.
Product description, availability and prices.
The product you receive will be the same as the one you see on the website, but the leather may appear slightly different, due to the natural characteristics of the leather. And also the colours on the website are as accurate as possible however, as with all photography, there may be some variation.
Prices may be altered at anytime due to the rising price of leather and the economic climate.
If the item on the website has not been made, then this may be because I’m waiting for the leather to arrive, but you will be made aware of the situation immediately by email.
Delivery
When total cost of item or items is over £65, then they will be sent via special delivery or UPS, depending on the size of the parcel.
And if total cost of item or items are less than £65, then they will be sent 1st class, unless customer pays for the special delivery at an extra cost of £5.00
Once the goods have been dispatched, then an email will be sent to you saying that they have been sent.
Customers from overseas will be charged for the shipping costs, import duties or tax costs.
Delivery timescales are as follow:
UK mainland – 1 to 4 days
EU countries – 5 to 10 days
USA and Canada – 5 to 14 days
Refunds and Exchanges
If for any reason, you wish to exchange or get a refund, please contact Melissa by email or phone, within 21 days of receiving the order, saying that you will be returning the order with all it’s packaging and would like to do an exchange or get a refund.
When returning the goods, you must send it back by registered post or special delivery and keep the receipt in case there are any problems. And also send an email to say when you have dispatched the item.
